Devotion:

It’s so comforting to know that God can. He can heal the sick, fix what’s broken, take care of those in need, and bring back what was lost. There’s no limit to what He can do. When we say, “God can,” we mean that nothing is impossible for Him.

There’s a deeper peace when we also say, “God will.” That’s not just believing in His power, it’s trusting in His heart. It’s faith that says, “I know my God is not only able, He is willing.” He’s willing to love, forgive, guide, strengthen, and lift us when we’re down. He’s not far away. He’s right there with us at every moment of our lives.

God can: that’s His ability.
God will: that’s His promise.

Together, they make the foundation of unwavering faith. When you’re praying for something to happen, believe that God can do it. When you feel discouraged or forgotten, remember that God will keep His word.

He’s both able and faithful. That changes everything.

Prayer:

God, I thank You that nothing is impossible for You. I trust You to work in my life according to Your perfect will. Help me to remain strong in faith, knowing that You are both powerful and good. I believe You can, and I trust You will. In Jesus’ name, amen.
